Warm welcome from the outset, our waitress was friendly and helpful, as well as attentive to our needs. I had the Seafood chowder which was packed with seafood, but maybe a little thin with the stock. Just needed a little thicker to be an excellent chowder. For Mains I chose the medallion of beef, which were tasty and succulent. The... More

We had a great evening meal here and were well served by the staff. There is an extensive menu and what we chose from it was well cooked and delicious. This is obviously a popular place to eat as we noted families and young couples/small groups of friends eating here too.

We ate at this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. The building used to be a shirt factory, which has been converted into a relaxing space with a well-stocked bar. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had hand dived scallops, followed by Donegal lamb, both of which were delicious. My companion enjoyed a steak, cooked rare as... More

We had a great meal tonight at yellow Pepper. Four different members of wait staff took care of us. They simply did what needed to be done when it needed to be done. Medallions of beef and spivey chicken were both very good, as was the wheaten bread. Brownie dessert was not as good as everything else. Presentation better than... More

Really lovely early evening early bird meal, 2adults, 1 child (10). We wanted something nice, tasty and not too pricey so After a days shopping at 5pm we went to yellow pepper, ordered from set menu!! Food was served promptly, very delicious starters ( cheese crostini a must) Main course was tasty (pork belly sooo yummy, crackling was the best).... More

Just happened to be staying locally and looking for something to eat fairly late in the evening midweek after 9.pm30 and most places were closed, but thankfully the chef and staff were busy working away in a full house at yellow pepper and had a very enjoyable and tasty bit of grub, everything was perfect, great to see some restaurant... Visited this restaurant on Thursday 18th April. We had friends over from Scotland so we thought we would take them there for dinner as we have dined there before and were never dissappointed and as usual it was just marvellous. The food, staff and service was first class, they do a wonderful early bird menu which runs from 2pm until... More

Visited this restaurant with my boss on biz trip on his recommendation from previous trips - and this time the boss was right!! Really cosy ambience and spot on front of house staff ... and best meal i've eaten out in many months! Go for the Donegal seafood platter - sublime!! Pint of Murphy's on the side and I was... More

Visited this restaurant one Sunday with two children. Great food but too pricey for regular visits. Fish and chips €13 and kids brownie dessert €4. Sunday chicken lunch €13 even though board listed cheaper. Staff all friendly and very pleasant.

I visited the yellow pepper on sat 6th april with a large crowd of noisy hens, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious, 19 of us and nothing was left on our plates, being a large crowd i was anxious we may have disturbed other patrons, however we were not made to feel as a burden at all,...
