Everything is great! Very nice and friendly service; nice background music and a divine food. The dishes are very well presented, but they taste even better! I'll be back for sure!!

The list of available dishes was extremely short, so we didn't have much choice. Overall impression was ok, definitely nothing special at all, but a couple of hours later we both had a rather heavy feeling in the stomach. We suspected bacalao-either because of too much fat or because of something else. Very expensive coperto, but you can refuse it....

FIrst of all, it´s not an indian restaurant, even no vegetarian meals you can find there. In my perspective, this is a Restaurant (normal one) with some creative add vallue on the preparation and presentation of the meals. The service it´s quite slow, but the quality its good (normal quality for restaurants in this region of Portugal).
I suggest to...

Having read the reviews, we went to Cardamomo for lunch. It is a nice, cosy spot, with friendly professional service.

I was really eager to try this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The food is very eccletic. You'll find both indian, portuguese and vegetarian dishes on the menu, and they all seemed delicious. The service is very good, the food is excellent and you get your value for money. I certainly reccomend it.
very good food, excellent wine, excellent dessert; the place is mandatory for those who enjoy a good calm dinner finishing in an elegant port wine, with a cigarette included.
I had lunch in Cardamomo and ordered a "prato do dia" for just 6 euros (turkey with rice and vegetables), and it was so good! I couldn't resist and ordered a dessert, too (a double mousse of coconuts and wild berries).
The service was nice and the location was clean and pretty elegant.
If you are looking for a very...

On our last visit we were there for the birthday of a friend and, as there were about 8 of us, we had the chance to try several dishes, all wonderfully prepared. Service was impecable, with the owner coming to the table to explain every dish and give some suggestions. Definitely one to return from time to time.
With all the other places to visit in Portugal, you might not chose Leira. But it's about midway from Lisbon to Porto, and this restaurant is worth a visit. It features Indian and Portugese Goan food, with a great wine list. We had several appetizers recommended by the owner, along with fish and vegetable curries. Everything was tasty and a...

The first restaurant in my life where you can't share the food of the menu with somebody that didn't ordered some food.
