Authentic and original taste of Nyonya cuisine! Just like home cook dishes...and I like the Chef serve different 'sambal' (chili) in different dishes. I like their : Chicken Pongteh, Kapitan chicken, Curry chicken with Keluak and the Nyonya Cendol very much! Don't forget the Nyonya snacks (kuih) with bring back my childhood memory...worth visit second time.

Having read the good reviews about this restaurant, we got to try it. N what a disappointment ! Unlike what was claimed, it was way way below malacca's restaurants such as Makro. Tried the lady's finger which was too soft and overcooked and the sambal over it is fragrantless and no kick. The chilli was machine blended to too fine... More

Been quite a while since my last visit to this eatery. Had a simple meal for the 4 of us and one of my clients was amazed with the dishes that came to our table. The mutton rendang was really good and after the meal she ordered 2 portions of it for takeaway for her family members who simply loves... More

I must agree with the previous reviewer on his take of the food served by Grace. I have been searching for a good Nyonya food since I last tasted it in Malacca and lo and behold, to my surprise I manage to locate one such hidden treasure just around my neighbourhood! If anyone out there wishes to try a delicious... More

Nestle along a row of shop houses, overlooking a residential estate, was a Peranakan tea house, called “Ma-Ma” Nyonya Food, located at Jalan Molek, Johore. The ambience was perfect, airy high ceiling, white walls decorated with Peranakan curios and round white marble tables, gave me a sense of serenity and expectation. The owner and chef, Grace Lim, was awaiting our... More

I found this restaurant by chance some months ago while visiting a friend at Molek in JB. Was quite impressed with the food on my very first visit, why ? I been to Malacca all these years and every trip I will try different places but most turn out to be quite a disappointment. After some time I gave up... More
