Try the set menu for 2, lots of tasters, more than enough for two and a fab fresh fruit dish to finish.

The restaurant was an easy walk from the Mercure where we were staying. We visited on a tuesday night and even though it was rather busy we still got a table without making a reservation for two. We ordered the banquet for $45 which was great value and we got to taste such a wide selection of food through entrees,...

the food was excellent, the prices were good (for the area), atmosphere is nice. I would suggest a reservation, they're popular and do not turn tables over quickly.
Very busy , always busy but I was disappointed, food tasted of oil, poor veggie options, noodles were 2 minute noodles, small portions for the price, but like a canteen, not well spiced and we asked for extra spice-would NOT go again, too much hype for a poor place
Great service and fantastic food. Refreshing to have a venue that is such great value for money, highly recommend.
We've been here 3 times in the hope that we were just unlucky the first. We thought the reviews seemed so good, so it must be good. Alas, it's been poor all 3 times.

Kambing mekuah's totally Indonesian! The soup was just exploding in our mouth! BEAUTY!
The shallot garlicky thing is our...

Four of us went last night on re come cation by trip advisor. We were not disappointed. The service and food was the best and most authentic we have experienced. Great value at reasonable prices

Although it's a bit off the beaten path, the ambience created in the restaurant is lovely - we sat outside, inside looked nice too. A thoroughly...

We had dinner at the Bayleaf a few days ago: the quality of the food is very good and prices are in line with the other restaurants in Cairns. A delightful experience: the croc as entree was very tasty and our seafood mains were very good and just the right size! We'll definitely come again!
