Waited 1hour for a seafood pasta that had prawns (shrimps) out of a packet, mussels that were overcooked and sans the clams specified on the menu. No seafood taste at all. But what was more annoying than the pathetic pasta was the lack of an apology from the manager. Won't go back and wouldn't recommend it.

I must have eaten here 20 or more times; it's a great place to bring guests to Perth, and is a very busy, positive environment, with genuine staff and genuine Italian food. Capretto al Forno is a favourite, and the Pizzas are good too. Give the gelato a try; it's made on location. Ciao!

We ate at this restaurant twice on our recent stay. We would definitely recommend it. The Italian staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was great.

We recently stayed a couple of nights in the city to go to Cirque du Soleil and discovered this cafe. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the second night. It isn't a place for a long, lingering dinner - it's a eat and go on to something else or eat after work and go home place. On... More

This restaurant was great... food, service...but they load there food with MSG... one of our companions reacted with hallucination all night. If you are msg sensitive... avoid it like the plague, no matter how it smells, or ask them if they can leave it out or what meals omit it

Having eaten many times in Italy and at Italian restaurants in Melbourne I can only say this was an average meal with average service. Creamy mussels and tasteless lemon tart. Pizza may be better, but did not try it. Probably OK for a family meal, but not a good Italian restaurant.

You couldn't honestly say that this is a high standard restaurant because it isn't and doesn't pretend to be. The food is generally good and cooked in an Italian rustic style with generous servings. However, steer away from the Rissotto as it is bland and cooked without stock - not good. The Pizza is a different story, crispy and always... More

Not impressed. Oily pizzas and arrogant management and service. The toilets were really filthy too. We liked this place in the past, but it has gone down-hill.....

This is a great little Italian restaurant run by real Italians. The accents are real, the chaotic service is truly Italian and, most of important of all, the pizza and pasta and coffee is great. In true Italian style some of the servings are huge (so beware if you are on a diet). They also allow BYO as an added... More

An excellent unpretentious restaurant that is family owned and run (no absentee owners here). True Italian expertience with non stop activity! Food is served quickly and is of high quality. The Owner - Roberto - is front and centre watching over the whole operation. Cost is reasonable given the high cost of Perth in general so his restaurant is busy!.... More
