I admit I am not very knowledgable about Japanese food, but the shared dishes my friends and 1 tried were all simply wonderful, and will def come back again. Great service too. Very modest from the outside but recommended.

We get regular bento boxes to take awAy from here. It's always busy but staff are so polite and food is delicious. Can't wait for an opportunity to eat in!!

This would have to be the best Japanese food / restaurant I have ever eaten. The service is great but the presentation of the food is simply wonderful. The food is fresh and I want to go back there at least twice a week. All in all simply divine.

This is the sort of Japanese local restaurant you dream of - with interesting and subtle twists on classic food and inventive ways with new dishes. The sashimi and pork belly are beautiful, the desserts divine, the sake choices abundant. The service is brisk,efficient and knowledgeable. Lovely.

We went as a couple on Saturday night. The food was wonderful - well cooked and beautifully presented and served. The service was excellent, the staff were very happy to make suggestions about the Sake and explanations about how much food to order. We look forward to going back again soon.

Been twice now a month apart and both times were excellent. From atmosphere to service to freshness to menu to quality -- every dish, every course is superb! Only problem is once the secret's our we won't be able to get in!
