Liked the selection of gluten free food. Disliked the non availability of anything sugar free for a diabetic.
It's a girl's kinda place pretty in pink but the coffee was fine and it's friendly suburban daytime cafe in a garden centre. recommended
Delightful gardens to enjoy lunch with family & friends. Friendly service. Kids friendly playhouse. Recommend the broccoli salad & gourmet sausage roll. Looking forward to dining again.
This is a lovely quiet place to go for a coffee and a cake. Their cake selection is good, however not so great for lunch. The prices are on the higher side and it's usually quite packed. There are only 2 tables indoors but they do offer blankets for outside on cold days. The service is average. I think because... More
I loved the wild roses cafe so much that we held our wedding here! Every thing was perfect from the atmosphere, food, staff and presentation of the venue. Thank you so much for helping make my wedding wonderful.

Plenty of umbrellas or trees for shade, and interesting things to look at in the gardens and shop. A previous reviewer mentioned the lack of toilet facilities ~ I'm sure a cafe for so many people requires... More
On our recent cruise to New Zealand we booked a day tour with John Hanlon of Hawkes Bay Scenic Tours. John took us to this great little cafe for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed the great coffee, lovely home made food and the beautiful garden setting.
I often take clients to Wild Roses Cafe for that extra treat while they are in the Bay. The setting amongst the trees is so tranquil, quiet and relaxful; and as for the food, there is a large selection from muffins, salads, and decorative sweets. I feel you certainly get value for money. Keep up the good work girls, we... More
The food was great and the cafe setting amongst trees and birds was gorgeous with decorative touches and lovely natural beauty everywhere you looked. It was great to be able to buy gifts at the cafe and we did, a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning
We went on a busy Saturday for an early lunch. The food on offer was interesting but like a lot of these places, pricey. I had the larger of the two pasta salad sizes on offer.$9. It was tasty but not much for the price. I was glad it wasn't long since breakfast. There is a wide range of interesting... More
