Wow! what lovely place to eat! I remember the old Bodhi Tree before the earth quakes, it was just okay but hey, my visit to this one was amazing. Creative menu. The way it is designed you can get to share and try few things and tell you what all of them were exceptional. My favorite by far is the... More

First off - the tea leaf salad is legendary. It's an essential part of the experience. I've been wanting to eat here for years, and I'm very pleased I finally got around to it. Everything is amazing, except for the restaurant environment. The selection, the service, the hot waiter, the prompt kitchen, the pace of dishes, the flavours, oh, the... More

This is well worth a visit and has a good selection of vegetarian food on the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food delicious.

So I went here on a recommendation of a dear friend, and my initial impression of the place was rather average. The place does not look impressive from the outside. The interior is rather sticky, however all of this was worth it once I tasted the food. It is quite unbelievable. The green tea salad makes for an amazing culinary... More

I always eat here when work takes me to Christchurch. The Burmese dishes are just a little bit different from any other cuisine - and I have travelled very extensively. The portions are entree size and sharing amongst the group is fine, so you can try many different tastes in one meal. The food defies categorisation. It's not like Thai... More

Ate here recently on a short trip to christchurch. Excellent food we loved everything we ordered. Recently travelled to burma and enjoyed the food there so thought would give it a go, was not disappointed. The dishes are entree sized and this is explained on the menu. Its not cheap, worked out at about $120 for two people including 5... More

This Burmese restaurant is exceptionally popular with the local. It's female friendly like and the food is leaning more towards vegetarian-healthy style. You have to book in advance to come here. It has since been shifted to the suburb of Ilam. For what it is, it's VERY expensive but the locals don't seem to mind.

The tea leaf salad is up there as some of the best food I've ever had ... We went with another couple, and so ordered eight mains (mains are entree size, which is advised on the menu), the beef kebabs, and deep fried chicken are amazing ... But the tea leaf salad (which is an actual starter) ... Wow, just... More
