We had been looking forward to tasting the new season bluff oysters and the Wakatipu Grill certainly delivered. Beautifully presented and wonderful to eat. We followed with a perfectly cooked pink lamb rack. The wine list is impressive. Recommended.

Unfortunately we weren't aware that we should have made a reservation so like most of the people there we were shunted out onto the terrace. We had a very nice meal at the Grill we received 20% off our bill through the accomodation so this made it very good value. The service was good and the meal was very good with a great show off of New Zealand Meat.
We were only given a wine list and had to ask if other drinks were available...

The view from our table was amazing, it looked directly over the lake. We enjoyed our meals but what really made it stand out was how brilliant our waiter was, David looked after us and he made sure we had a good evening. He recommended good dishes, made sure we were enjoying our evening and came over for a chat....

The ambient was good. Our waiter was so friendly and suggested us wines and dishes. We had had to wait too long to get our dinner. Despite this, the taste of the suggested dishes (lamb in pastry) was excellent.
