Only had the lunch but it was delicious and beautifully presented. The tables are well solaced so it's not a noisy place - a big bonus these days.
A short notice phone booking (5 minutes) was received with graciousness and when we arrived and asked for a preferred table near the front we were accomodated. Pierre's has that French ambience, not found elsewhere in the area, so conducive to a mellow evening. Rohan, the owner, stopped to greet us as he passed by. The staff were quietly attentive... More
Returning to Tasmania, we have been meaning to eat here a few times but have always gone elsewhere. But so happy we decided to this time! We came for dinner and it was mid-week but still busy (a good sign) yet it wasn't noisy or crowded. The wine list was comprehensive and staff had a great knowledge of wines too... More
Dining out for a birthday celebration, Pierre's did not disappoint! Atmosphere is pleasant, a full restaurant but not noisy. Very comfortable seating, with adequate space between tables. We had pumpkin soup and traditional french onion soup to start - both were hot and delicious. For mains we enjoyed the fish pot pie, which was full of perfectly cooked chunks of... More
We visited this restaurant twice on successive nights. The night we could not fault anything. The food, service and ambience were excellent as a result of which we booked to return the following night. On the second night, meal was good overall but the cassoulet was ordinary and the french onion soup had a distinct lack of cheese on the... More
This was a warm and welcoming place with excellent food. They catered well for a youngster who enjoys a well produced meal with out being treated like a kid. The duck dish was excellent and the mussels with frites were really authentic. A must have was the musk panacotta with Persian fairy floss. Don't go to Launceston without visiting this... More
Went here on my birthday and celebrated with family and friends. Bought own cake which only cost a few dollars to plate up. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the variety was excellent. All meals were very well presented, the wine list was adequate to match all meals available and the service was helpful and well-timed. The atmosphere was great and... More
I'm so proud to say that it's the best lamb that I've ever had. Make sure that you're there for lunch on Thursdays! Jamie Cox, Longford, Tasmania
We came across this restaurant unexpectedly, following a couple of locals in.Our meal was terrific. One had the steak and one the pork belly both delicious.Chai Latte best I have ever had!Desserts were great, all high quality, wine and service all good and very reasonable for a great meal!
My husband and I often celebrate occasions here and it always fantastic - even if it is a bit pricier than other options. The service and food are flawless as is the wine list and decor. You'd be hard pressed to find faults!
