Clairault is everything that you expect a winery to be in the Margaret River Region, beautiful rolling lawns, great cellar door and an outstanding restaurant. Can highly recommend the Cabernet Merlot 2004, 2005 & 2008

Cellar door staff very stiff and arrogant, the wine is nothing to rave about and I felt uncomfortable for the time I was there. Its a shame because the winery itself is quite lovely to visit but as my review title says, highly overrated.
After many years of outstanding quality food, I was disappointed to find one of my favourite venues in the region has turned into nothing more than a gourmet deli and sandwich bar. What has happened tot he fine dining experience that has become an icon in the region?
A magnificent place to pass a few hours of the day, sipping great quality wines with delicious food. perfectly attuned to the seasonality of the region.
Immaculate lawns maintained by Dunsborough Turf Management give a verdant sweeping entrance to this high quality establishment. Beautiful native gardens with uncluttered views across the vineyard. A pleasant place for a wine tasting stop.
We were driving around in the area of Yellingup looking for a place to have lunch. We came across Clairault by coincidence. The winery is located in lovely area with nice views. It was not a problem to have lunch with our 3 kids (10, 7, 3 yrs). They have good kids fish & chips and a delicate menu for...

The service was great, however don't go if you are hungry the main meal was the size of an entree and at $37 a bit overpriced. We didnt get to dessert as my husband was having a huge whinge fest over the size and...

We had a lovely lunch at Clairault restaurant. It is a nice set up looking out onto the vines with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. You also get a chance to do a wine tasting in the restaurant prior to sitting down and selecting something to go with your food. The food portions are quite small but very...

After having a disappointing lunch at another venue, we skipped desert and headed back to clairault for desert. It was awesome! good service, great view and deserts to die for. Its not until you have a beautiful glass of wine and a nice meal that we actually feel you have been to Margs! Keep it up Clairault!
A group of 10 of us took a trip to Clairault for lunch this last week-end. Food was delicious and setting lovely but a few things they could improve on.
It was like the waiter had sales targets as the amount of sparkling water and bread he was pushing got a bit silly (at $10 a bottle of water that...
