A little overpriced, but come on! You are in heaven! The beach there is one of the best in the area!

Kinda of hard to find so call for directions but the place is what you read in fairy tales... Imagine a beautiful green lawn in the middle of a jungle with a french cottage on it. At the end of the lawn lies a virgin beach with incredibly soft sand... The food is what you would expect from the best...

I have just returned from Heaven! Yes, it was always siting there by Bahia de Samana in Dominican Republic. For a Venezuelan girl, who has been lucky to travel the world, no other beach compares to Playa Bonita or Playa Coson, where this lively, vibrant and chic restaurant is located. Beautiful setting. Great service. Pasta dish was yummy. Cash only. Call or email ahead to get their hours.

The food was great but really felt that since we arrived without a lunch reservation( mid week) and were not staying at The Peninsula House, we were second class citizens.
I had read all of the reviews of The Beach prior to our arrival and they did not disappoint! We came unplanned one day and didn't have a lot of cash- that is our only regret! We had to restrict our ordering but we all enjoyed our meals and the rum punch was out of this world! As we were...

A handsome airy pavillion on Playa coson with stunnng food and pleasant staff (Luca). We so enjoyed our langoustine risotto, shrimp tacos, arugula salad with prosciutto and parmigiana. The cheesecake with dulce de leche was fantastic. This was a fantastic lunch. Not to be missed.
Simply, this is great fresh food in a paradise setting for almost no money. OK, you don't get a choice of white or black napkin or any napkin for that matter. Glitz and pomp is not on offer. What is, is something very special. One of the best beach locations in the world. Select your own fish then let the...
