I've eaten here a few times, and I've always been happy with the food and the service. It was recommended to me, and I recommend it to you.
Every time I return to Jindabyne, I dont really feel like I'm home until I have a meal at Rock n Pot. I usually go early before the restaurant gets smokey. Great place for a catch up with the girls! One tip, dont wear anything you can't wash as cooking from the stone can get a little messy! Dont forget... More
Just spent a week in Jindy snowboarding. After a long day on the slopes you really want a warm meal. We ate here twice, at the beginning of the week we found the food to be excellent, so came back another time. Had the lamb shanks w/ a mulled wine!!!!Yum! My partner had the fish that you grilled yourself (enjoyed... More
Only open during the winter months but the food is very tasty and excellent value. You have the option of cooking your meal yourself on a hot sizzling plate at the table and makes for great conversation with your fellow guests. Service is good and staff are very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
Get the vege pot!!!! The hot rock steak was delicious!!!! It was warm and cosy, with a roaring fire. Our table wasn't ready, but we had a few mulled wines sitting by the fire, which got our appetites cranking. Had a dinner here with a big group of friends and the staff were happy to accommodate a couple of extra... More

A great novelty where you get to cook your own steak on the stone. Good quality products however if lots of people are cooking on their own stone the small restaurant can get smoky!
On the spur of the moment, we managed to get a seat in this bustling restaurant-try the veal with wild mushrooms-wonderfully delicious as was the seafood chowder...service was a bit slow due to the big holiday crowd but they were very helpful and attentive..
This place has both a standard menu where food comes from the kitchen, or a hot rock menu where you are supplied with a hot cooking stone along with the ingredients to cook. The big thing going for this place is atmosphere, lots of people having a great time. Although the hot rock was a nice novelty, when you're on... More
