This is a great pub - the best in Albany by a long way. Pub is full of warmth and character with very friendly staff. The meal was very good but the atmosphere of the place fully made up for anything lacking in the meal. A great night out.
All 6 of us had a great meal here. I think mine was the best though I had the steak and ale pie. A must if you eat here
We spent an enjoyable evening here, had a good meal and listened to the guitar & singing of the local group.
Food and beer on tap was really delicious. The apple crumble with ice cream was so yummy! However, it's a popular place for the locals. With live entertainment offered most nights, it would be wise to go early to secure a seat or call ahead. Outdoor seating is nice, except in mosquito season.

We stopped in at the Earl for a bite of lunch. Didn't like our chances as we were late. Even though it was outside the normal service period the chef still obliged and a short time later two massive meals arrived. The food hit the spot, the service friendly and the venue was cosy. Definately recommend a visit!
Called for tea after a visit to the cinema. Cool night but both fires blazing away, great atmosphere and all tables full and this was a Wednesday night.
I had the slow cooked lamb shank and my husband had the pie and a pint, both very good with what seems to be an average price.
Great selection of Irish and...

My friend and I visited this beautiful pub over the 2013 Easter weekend to eat and listen to the blues singer. We arrived at 1630 as the singer was due to begin at 1700. The place was not busy and I asked the guy behind the bar about a table for dinner. He looked at me and said, "We are...
