This is a small restaurant on the outskirts of town but the food is of superb quality. It is a french brasserie and bar in Portugal run by a Scotsman but the mix works. As an added bonus to a dwindling portion of the population the bar area but not the restaurant is equipped with ash trays.

Good food, lobster, steaks and deserts, but frogs legs should be fried and crispy and not braised and slimy. not cheap, but neither is any restaurant in almancil.

Very nice meal here on 3rd October. We had the two course meal for 22 euros. We had frogs legs and stuffed mushrooms to start and the steak for main. All was well cooked and good value. Very nice atmosphere, made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem, they even catered for our small children when they dont have a childrens menu! The staff were very friendly and only happy to help, very reasonable food and reasonably priced, presented to a very high standard.

Read a review that an evening here was like faulty towers, they weren't wrong. So disappointing! Boiling aug eve, no outdoors & a broken aircon. Rude waitresses, dark & dingy. Average food. Will never return. The only bad evening we had in Portugal.
