I have been here twice since my arrival in Budapest, the food is nice. You should try Mango Lassi here since i liked it and ordered both the times.....But i must say it was very hard to find when first time i started looking for this restaurant. Comparatively i think prices are also good.. I haven't tried any other indian... More

Currently this is my favourite indian restaurant in Hungary. This was the second time I visited the place and the food had the same quality as first time. I really love the serving, the atmosphere of the restaurant. My favourite apetizer is the ONION BHAJIYA with 3 different sauce. Everything is clean (restroom also clean - for me it is... More

I went here with a group. The food was surprisingly good. Our starters of pakora, samosa, masala popadom etc... were not greasy and authentic. The main courses all seemed to be enjoyed. My lamb kofta was very good and served on a sizzler plate with roasted vegetables. The naan breads of various varieties were not too heavy and not covered... More

Food was ok, not as hot as other Indian restaurants (I had the madras) but server told me that Hungarian customers dont like hot food and I could have asked for it spicy, would have helped before I ate it. Food marks on the wall suggested they aren't cleaned too often as the place was not that busy when I... More

- Poor service, high prices - food is simple, nothing special - don't check the toilettes, they are simple dirty - if the door of the kitchen is open (it is), close your eyes... The restaurant is below the average, don't visit them.

We visited here during a Dining Week promotion. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not really Indian and the restaurant could use some renovation as well. This is the heart of the city and just behind a 6-star hotel so I would have expected something more classy. Since we could choose from 2 fixed menus, our choice of meal was... More

Food and service both was average. The touch of indian hospitality was definitely missing. They add 10% service charge on the invoice. So you like it or not, you pay 10% as appreciation for their feel good. Wouldn't visit again!

Ordered, 5 min later my food was served... Didn't trust the place enough to order meat and the meat replacement tasted of. I paid 3450 (incl. Fee) for their vegetarian specialty and a mango smoothy. Being the only place that was open on Sunday midday of the 5 that I had on my list, I was happy to have found... More

We British have adopted the curry as our national dish, so the Salam Bombay is a welcome sight when we visit Budapest. There is one difference between the Salaam and typical Indian restaurants in England, it is simply a heck of alot better! The typical Indian restaurant in England is just a cash generator for the owner who is only... More

This place is OK if you're hanging out for a curry and a cold beer. Not fantastic, but reasonable value. There are much better places in Budapest.
