We both enjoyed our meal. Food, service & ambience are good. Quiet when we ate after the mailboat run - which suits us. Convenient location. No hesitation in recommending it.

Our first night in Picton, we discovered Oxley's. We ate outside, and enjoyed seafood chowder and seafood pizza. Good food and cheerful service!
I found the Oxley to be a nice spot on a weekday as it is very quiet after the tourist buses go home. Sit by the open windows ans you can watch the world go by as you drink their reasonably priced tap beer and decent food.
The Oxley is great for upmarket pub food, the staff are friendly and its a great place for a large group of people with the pool table and friendly atmosphere.
Loved the music , cheerful staff food ok salad was a bit tired We had fish well cooked and tasty Second time had the kumara chips - yum!

5 of us had excellent meals here ranging from pizzas to a massive steak on the bone ! Everyone commented on how good the food tasted, their garlic bread is the best Ive ever had. 10/10, well done Oxley.
The lass serving us was very friendly and the meal was delicious!
Service was prompt and friendly, the food was rather unimaginative but very well priced and plenty of it. It was a beautiful night and it appeared a little dark and gloomy - and had sport on TV - grrrr!!!
We went here last month based on this being the number 1 restaurant at the time. This was hands down the worst eating experience during our trip. The food was expensive and disgusting. The salad was very small and only had green peppers. The chicken were leftover bits of fat and grizle. We were very disappointed with this place and...
