I attended Georgetown University and at one time lived at Wisey's, er... across the street from Wisey's. The deli sits effectively on campus across the street from a set of dorms and classroom buildings in a small building on a one way street. In 4 years at school, I successfully ate through the entire menu at least trice and was... More

Include this place for lunch when at GU or Mass at Holy Trinity Church...it's a great place. Grill was covered w. Chicken Breasts when we were there. Chicken Sandwiches/ Subs were great. Kind of a traffic jam at counter to order/ pick up. Bad at counter to pay also. Might slow you down - but food is worth the wait.... More

Good, greasy sandwiches - great when you need comfort food to go. No place to sit down and eat, and the set up is crowded and a little confusing for first-time visitors. The service behind the counter isn't particularly friendly, but they make a mean grilled cheese w/ tomato slices.

As Bill Clinton's former hangout, Wisey's lives up to its reputation. The service is quick, the sandwiches are delicious and unique. Recommend the Chicken Madness

Any trip back to Georgetown must include a trip to Wisemiller's for a Chicken Madness. Chicken, Bacon, Cheese, Spices, Garlic... can't go wrong! Plus you get a free bag of Utz, a pickle and a can of soda. Don't miss this place the next time you are in the area. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

One of my favorite deli sandwiches ever. Chicken Madness never fails to hit the spot. If you're in the mood for a great sandwich in DC, this is the place to go!

The Chicken Madness is without question the greatest sandwich ever, anywhere. My senior year at Georgetown, over a decade ago, I started to realize that I would be leaving DC and so I began ordering them like a maniac. Every time I'm back Wisey's is my first (and last) stop. Had a friend going to a transatlantic conference pick me... More

This place is great! Sandwiches are so good! You have to get them to go as there is no seating. Sandwiches come with chips and a drink, and the price is cheap. This is the place to go for an amazing sandwich!

This place is the money! Their coffee is excellent (had one every morning before class), and their sandwiches are ridiculously good (Chicken Madness!). The only gripe I have is almost everything off their grill tastes the same...its all good though.

Wisemiller's in Georgetown, next to the Tombs, makes the legendary burger madness and chicken madness. One of the best deli's on the planet. A Washington institution.
