What a menu for vegetarians and everyone else. Couldn't even begin to decide what to order. Portions were great. Food was tasty. Service was good too. Had a charming waitress.

I am vegan. This place was AWESOME!!! Had to keep going back instead of trying to find other places to go-it was that yummy. The owner was fantastic. The atmosphere was great too. Hip, and not pretencious-like most of DC . Fantastic!
Ducked out of the Convention Center for a quick lunch and found this place. Counter-culture decor and handbills abound. Food was OK but pricey, service friendly & efficient. The sinker was the men's room. Dirty, water on the floor, and the stall door held by a piece of tape. If the rest room looks like that, how clean is the...

The first time I ate here was back in 2011. That meal--the food and the service were horrible. I swore to never eat at a Busboys & Poets again. I have kept to that. I only go there for events and order unsweetened ice tea. That was even disgusting (14th St. location). It smelled and reminded me of sewage. Today...

Good restaurant, very close to Washington Convention Center. Selection was varied, good for our large group with different tastes. Tables on the upper floor are very nice. Quiet and away from the activity at the entry level.
Great food quality and friendly staff make this a good start to the day. Try the omellette with black beans ... Delicious with a bloody mary! Wish opened a little earlier on Sunday :-)
Oh boy ! Did I ever enjoy this meal! On business travel with 3 co-workers who all said "is this a vegan restaurant" (translation: is it all carrots and bean sprouts?) Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I've been officially chosen as restaurant selector for our next adventure. Plenty of food for those of a carnivorous nature, but everyone on this...

I had dinner with a group at Busboys and Poets on Friday night, which is my favorite new place, hands down, across the country! Isn't the name in and of itself great? Inside is a fair trade boutique, a bar on the top floor once you walk up a spiral staircase, overlooking a spacious first floor with a center bar...

I really loved this place. It's a pity we didn't dicover it earlier, as it was right next to our apartment hotel. I had never eaten a real vegan dish (at least a one declared as that) before, as this is quite unusal in Europe. I once took the the tofu crisp rolls as entrée and the vegan nachos as...
