Cannot recall any other local restaurant that serves a better Tri-Tip. But I don't eat here as often as I like. Their No Reservations policy means you can wait upwards of an hour or more on busy nights. Am not a fan of waiting that long for food.

I always prefer to eat at non chain restaurants ... I guess I don't like the 'formula' feel of chains, especially the larger (both in number of stores, siz of store and menu), but Wood Ranch feels different.
We were here early on a Sunday ... good hint, because the place gets very busy by about 5 ... large parties,...

We went here the other night for dinner. We like to sit in the bar but order dinner. Husband wasn't very hungry especially after he'd eaten the delicious rolls they serve here: watch out cause they are very addicting! He had wings and I had the tri-tip with baked potato and mac n cheese (did I carbo load or what?...

I met here with a friend I hadn't seen in years. It was a clean and relaxed atmosphere and the burgers/brews were good. The only markdown on this place was that our waitress was disinterested and unfriendly. She might have been having a bad night, who knows? It was just like, jeez girl whatever you have going on - take...

I eat here every time I visit this area. The food is excellent! I've tried their various BBQ fare and it is all good, but the tri-tip roast is very, VERY good. They do an excellent job on take-out food as well.
I love this place, went there for my 50th BD. Always good food and service, you do pay for it however. Bad part, always busy, make a reservation if you can
My boyfriend and I each had the half chicken. My sides were the mashed sweet potatoes and baked beans My boyfriend's two sides were the mac and cheese and the regular mashed. Everything was very good. Even the garlic rolls was good. Will go back there again when we are there on vacation. Had unsweented iced tea and our waiter...

Walking up the hill from our neighbouring hotel we took a chance on Wood Ranch because it was close. Had the super garlic buns in front of us in minutes, service was excellent and so was the food. The tri tip bagette was like a beef dip with au jus. Took a chance on the smashed sweet potatoes which were...

The buttered rolls are to die for, and are heavy enough to possibly grant that request. I'd like to see the BBQ sauce on the side, as it is slathered onto good meat.
Reasonable priced BBQ, and it's really pretty good. The back ribs were my personal favorite. Must try the brisket next time
