Old stale fudge. Half filled waffle cone ice cream. Expensive for what you get. Very disappointed. Ask for a sample before buying the fudge.

Went to get some ice cream. Since their prices are so high I asked how much a single gets and was told I can spilt it in two flavors. Get the ice cream and go to pay at the register. Mind you someone else rings...you up, she goes on to charge me the double price and I let them know I got the single which they proceed to tell me I can’t spilt flavors. I let them know the nice young lady told me otherwise and the cashier says sorry and goes to change the price. Well the grumpy looking old lady who I assume is the manger comes running over and says no. Grabs the ice cream and throws it in the trash. I never seen such rude service while the mistake was all on their end. Needless to say we send all our customers there and they will never get another recommendation from us. Now I’m in line a scoops the better ice cream spot on the boardwalk. I get it you have to deal with tourist all day but I think it’s time for that old lady to retire she was not made for customer service.More

Ice cream, salt water taffy, fudge and other treats by the pound. Enjoyed my visit and came away with lots of taffy- only downside is that it is pre-measured into 1/4 lb bags… so if you want a piece of this and that, no luck.

We LOVE Lloyd's! We have brought our family multiple times here and the kids enjoy it each time. Wall to wall of bulk candy to choose from, amazing fudge and the BEST ice cream around! My Mother in Law said they had the best Macaroons...she's ever had!More

Stopped in and got some fudge and candy. Wasn't anything special. Just okay, like something you find in almost any small tourist town.

Came in here last week and was SHOCKED by the prices. $18.00 per pound of bulk candy. This is the exact same candy that you can buy from Von's grocery store just a short walk down the street! At $18.00 per pound, how fresh do...you think that candy is? I highly doubt they're selling enough at that price to have a lot of turnover. There is a $5.00 minimum to use a credit card and then they charge a 3.5% surcharge if you use a credit card. It feels like they're nickel and diming people. Espressos and other drinks seem like a deal if you don't factor in the credit card surcharge and minimum - you can't just purchase a hot tea if you don't have cash because it's less than $5. A chai tea on the other hand is $7.00. They sell ice cream, fudge and chocolates. Nothing is marked as gluten free, so as someone with Celiac disease, I didn't purchase any of those things. If you want something sweet, you're better off just walking to the grocery store with the prices that they charge here.More

The smell alone would stop anyone who walked by! Tip; try the side to-go window if there’s a long line. Get the cherry chocolate in a waffle cone made fresh (;

Hit the spot after a long day of sun and sand. Loved the sweet old fashioned candy shop feel - little bit of nostalgia

We stayed a week in Avalon and unfortunately we did not get ice cream everyday. But on the days we did, we only had cones from Lloyds! They make their waffle cones fresh daily, you smell them for at least a block away. Good selection...of flavors and the cone allows extra room for hot fudge! Sorry no photo!More

We went to Lloyd's 2 times after dinner in late July. We wanted to get ice cream & some candy. What a nightmare--both times the place was packed with local kids, who weren't disorderly but there were just so many of them that the wait...to get in the place was long. Once inside, the noise level was off the charts loud, the staff was very frazzled, unfriendly, and barked at you if you hesitated in the slightest to place your ice cream order or even to pay. The ice cream is nothing special, nor is the candy. Definitely best to skip this place. It looks tempting but you will be treated rudely and made to feel like a total nuisance by people who clearly don't like their jobs. Wish we'd spent our money elsewhere.More

Good thing we didn't try the fudge. The ice cream was delicious and fingernail free!
