Description: Rustique is the hot new Aspen bistro that everyone is talking about. Gourmet Magazine has praised the 'Grandmother Cuisine' on the menu, featuring genuine Onion Soup Gratinee, Escargots, Roasted Sea Bass and Braised Short Ribs. Regulars call just to ask about the Weird Dish of the Night, and cheese aficionados regale themselves with the seven or more varieties of cheese, accompanied by piping hot bread fresh out of the brick oven. The traditional desserts evoke the feeling of dining in a romantic country inn on a back road in Provence. Fresh fruit tarts, profiteroles with homemade ice cream and chocolate sauce, and a sinful creme brulee are but a few of your delectable choices.

We were in Aspen for a lacrosse tournament in the off season which also was Mother's Day weekend. The food was excellent. I had an appetizer and salad as I was not hungry enough for the 2 course prix fixe dinner options. The escargot was good (maybe a tad bit overcooked) and my salad was delicious. My husband order the... More

Just love this place, my go to place in Aspen. I've only ever sat at the bar, the food is amazing. When my girlfriend visits we always go there, when I celebrated 70 days on the mountain this season I went there. Again, sit at the bar. For me the go to stuff is, the hangar steak and the burger.... Rustique was recommended to me by a local I met while in the airport. I sat at the bar and Steve, the bartender, was very friendly even though he was very busy. The food was amazing - highly recommend the Truffle Mac & Cheese! It's not your everyday Mac & Cheese. If you find yourself in Aspen, get thee to... More

We did not have a reservation and were able to get a seat at a lovely table in the bar area. The place filled up soon after our arrival. The wine list is excellent. We each ordered the soup du jour, which was supposed to be a red pepper and fennel puree. It was not a puree, but had chunks... More

This is an exceedingly comfortable place to dine. The food is upscale French brasserie, well prepared and tasty. There is a wide range of offerings, not just steak and frites. The dining room is spacious and the smaller bar area offers bargain food offerings.

8 of us had dinner - 2 families which include 4 teens. The menu had great options for all. If you love cheese - you will have PLENTY of options. Great country french fare. Highlights from the meal - warm crusty bread, truffle oil french fries, onion soup gratinee, risotto with pork, cheese soufflé, duck, banana's foster. The only so/so... More

We have been going to RB for years. The food is reliably good. The wine list has some very nice bottles on it too. The truffle fries are unsurpassed. It is always full (not true of all Aspen restaurants these days). A reliable choice.

The bar menu was awesome and the steak au poivre hit the spot. Compliment that with a nice red and you can't go wrong.

My husband and I were looking to have an amazing dinner. The food was good, but not amazing. We had salmon and felt as if the meal was comparable to a Costco salmon meal we make at home. They had an amazing wine list all which was substantially over priced. Skip it.

We sat at the bar because we did not have a reservation. The bartender was great. Good drinks. Excellent order taking. Our food came and it was hot and delicious. This is now one of my favorite all time restaurants in Aspen. It was great. Food was the way it should be. Onion soup the best I have ever had.... More
