The salads here were tasty and the portions were huge, we had to share one as I couldn't finish it. Great smoothies too.
There really aren't too many bad views on this island but having morning coffee or iced tea and lunch while gazing at the ocean was a treat. Reasonable prices, healthy choices and friendly staff and owner made this a place we went to more than once in our 3 days on Caye Caulker.
Ate breakfast here three times and was always pleased. Had a variety of choices, all good and enough to share if your not super hungry. Great view, great waiter - he remembered my husbands sandwich requests. Had good fresh juice every time. The view is great, right out to the water. Would definitely recommend it.
After travelling through Central America for 2 weeks we found ourselves on this beautiful island in the Caribbean but in dire need of something not taco, tortilla or refried beans and meat and man did this place dish up the goods! Fresh baked bread, crisp fresh vegetables, delicious sandwich meats and tasty sauces combined with fresh juices and great coffee... More
Came for breakfast on a rainy morning. Ordered 2 eggs with bacon, the breakfast panini and 2 coffees. Paid $32 BZE. Great view, great service and great sandwich. Not sure why people are complaining about the prices. It's much cheaper than breakfast back home and you can tell they receive different food shipments than a lot of the local restaurants... More
I was so happy to have spotted Paradiso Sandwich shop in Caye Caulker. After several days of traveling, I woke up that morning with tummy trouble. By the afternoon, I was feeling a bit better but nervous to eat something that may trouble it again. I spotted this little sandwich shop and ordered a smoked turkey sandwich. It's a little... More
I had breakfast and lunch here a few times - it's a pretty little place which does great sandwiches and breakfasts. The staff could be friendlier, but apart from that it's a good bet for value for money food and coffee and I liked the setting.
Be on island time and enjoy the view because it might be an hour to get your food. I don't understand the high rating for this place based on a scrawny goat cheese and sun dried tomato omelette with dry baguette toast for $10 us, but the French toast got rave reviews. I guess it depends what you order.
We waited nearly an hour for French toast and an omelette. Whilst the food was OK, my wife particularly enjoyed her French toast, to wait an hour for food that is very over priced is not worth it. Try somewhere else for breakfast.
