If your ok with spending a little more than the average joint, Driftwood will deliver with delicious platters. Argued as the best burger on the island, try it with blue cheese and you'll be back!

Great BBQ. If you like banana flavored candy, order a banana soda. Sit out on the deck and watch life go by with a drink in your hand.

Driftwood Cafe has the best food on Utila, hands down, and the prices are fabulous for the quality of preparation. Like so many eateries on the island, it's very unassuming from the road and only has a small sign. The menu is a whiteboard on the wall and the fish soup is much admired. Been going to Driftwood since 2007. Best fish sandwich on Utila. Still best fish sandwich on Utila. Will go back several more times this trip to try to order different things other than the fish sandwich.

Driftwood is my favourite lazy-sunday-lunch place in Utila. The food is great, the owners and the staff are super friendly and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the bay and have a swim. It might seem a little pricey when you compare to other places in the island but not when you compare the quality. I love it!

Spent two weeks in Utila last month - by far my favorite place to eat and drink and we hit most of the better-known spots on the island. I came here because it was one of the best-reviewed restaurants in town... I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about. The food, service, and atmosphere were all average, not great; I wouldn't go back unless I happened to be close by that end of town again.
