Went here for a group dinner with colleagues. Bar is nice. Brilliant views, nice place, average food and service. Was expecting more to be honest.

I have to agree with the last reviewer, there was nothing extraordinary about this meal, which is a shame considering it has the best view in Fez. it should be a ground breaking, hip and happening affair, rather it dishes up food like a creme caramel for dessert? in saying that, it was not bad by a long way- my...

The location of this restaurant is beautiful with amazing views, the bar next door is also fabulous apart from the choking smoke!! The service is also very friendly and professional. Unfortunately the main element, the food, is disappointing.
Having eaten plenty of Moroccan food I was hoping for something a little more inspiring from such an upmarket establishment. I can...

Dear guest,
We are sincerely sorry that your experience at l’Amandier wasn't as perfect as expected.
Our Chef for the Moroccan cuisine is expert in old recipes, done exactly the same way they were done centuries ago and with the optimal ingredients, which means that if a salad can be done with Cinnamon sticks or Cinnamon powder, we will use...

Really good Moroccan food, well prepared, in a nice environment. Enjoyed it. There was a really good live duo of two guitarist/singers in the (unfortunately smoky) bar by the restaurant playing mostly Moroccan music. A good experience.
The food was very delicate Moroccan food prepared with much care and attention to detail. Definitely a welcome change from the usual plain jane couscous and tagine dishes. As appetizers we had the Moroccan salads which consists of ten small separate salad plates. This was the highlight of the dinner for us, as you could explore some very unusual and...

With an amazing view facing the historical medina of Fez,L'Amendier restaurant is a unique place where you can enjoy a real moroccan food with a good-value for money. The restaurant is not only providing a good service but also a nice ambiance.
The location and decoration of the restaurant are superb. The food was very good. The starters were excellent (variety of salads) and one of the Tagines we ordered was great, the other (beef) was tasty, but the meat was not soft. The service was very good. We recommend. The price is reasonable (app. 60 Eur. with wine).
We went to the restaurant with my husband for lunch, before spending the afternoon at the Palais Faraj' SPA.
The restaurant is located on the top floor of the Palais and has an amazing view on the Medina. We ordered a selection of Fassi starters. 15 min later, our table was full of salads, mini pastillas, mini mezze...we thought the...

This is the most beautiful hotel in Fez, however the food is dreadful. I think that many of the reviews are confusing the hotel with the restaurant. They need a new chef.
