In one word: great seafood very well prepared. Don't hold yourself back from taking the friture royale, they know how to make it. Which means: fresh fish and seafood with very little dough wrapped around it and fried exactly long enough. We also took the grilled loup which was excellent! Ambiance is very streetish and simple. Busy road, but you... More

This is a very popular restaurant with the locals, so you could find yourself on a long table with others, we had the mixed fried fish as everone else around us seemed to be having this and it looked superb - it was. Bread, olives, and dips were brought to the table and we had a litre of coke and... More

Being Easter Friday, partner wanted to skip meat and we were hoping to find a seafood restaurant. Walked by this place incidentally, saw lots of locals eating seafood and we were sold. Lobsters were very nice grilled, hot 1 each, including shared sea bass & huge salad with large bottle of water. Nice olives, plates of sauces & rice all... More

Simply Fish - Point to the fish you want to eat, they weigh it and cook it. Everyone gets the bread, a plate of rice and a small plate each of spicy sauce (the third plate was a tongue-scorcher and we left it). Menu is small, turn over is quick - if only fast food in the UK were this... More

This is a busy restaurants very popular with the locals that serves freshly cooked fish with side dishes. It's very reasonably priced and food comes quickly. It's not a place for a linger but if you are hungry then go for it.

We stayed at the Hotel Almas for a week which is 2 doors away when we visited Marrakech. We walk past this place so many times and saw that 99.9% of the customers were locals but we never gave it a second thought. We were on half board but after 3 nights of lousy meals at the hotel we thought... More

As with much of Marrakech, you face paying more if you are a visitor. This is a bustling place, it's not immediately obvious if you're supposed to wait to be seated. We got a good spot near the street. The waiters were efficient, but our meals came at different times. I had finished my fish tagine before my wife's langoustines... More

The owner of our Riad recommended this place in Gueliz and while it's not fine dining, you can see why the place was packed out. Pick your own seafood, it's grilled and served with some simple mezze. The food was tasty, prices were reasonable, but it's all about the food. Do not go if you're looking for a romantic candlelit... More

A ville nouvelle "snack bar" by name that is up there with the medina's best street food in terms of quality to cost ratio: four euros and change for a king-size platter of seafood and condiments; two and change for smaller plates. The place is easily recognized by the traffic (it's packed) and the servers in green shirts with the... More

This is not fine dining, it is a street-side open air restaurant. You may end up sitting with other patrons at the long tables, although they do have smaller tables you may get if they are not too busy. Service may look like it is chaotic, but waiters are friendly and very efficient. You can choose your fish and have... More
