comfortable place to have a quiet, very reasonable hot meal - when the souk/medina got too overwhelming, this is where we ducked into for lunch
This is a small restaurant where the traffic of clients never stops. It is moving all day. this is easy to find, has typical Moroccan fare and is never too crowded- although that may be a bad sign- the menu had most typical moroccan diner fare - the tea was good... ok service and excellent prices- great for an afternoon snack or a break while wandering through the many narrow streets of the medina
yes..the food is cheap but after 19 trips to rabat...it is not clean....have you gone to the bathroom...filthy..and all i can think is this is where the staff uses..food is very typical moroccan...not bad but the cleaniliness to me is an issue..i always stay in the medina so I am very familar...just want to make sure other westerners understand the... During my stay in Marocco for the wedding of a friend of mine, which is from Rabat, I visited again, (it's my second time) this excellent and typical restaurant in the heart of Rabat. Great food and atmosphere. Don't miss spedini :-) e yoghurt. BUON APPETITO !!!
Was hungry and needed a sit down. It was cheap and cheerful! Enjoyed omellette, fries, bread, oil & olives. Decent coffee. Staff needed prompting. No ill effects later! Loo clean and sink facilities were pretty decent. A constant procession of local customers created a nice atmosphere to the place. Would happily call again.
Staff were fairly friendly, food was very cheap and tasty enough, with no negative effects on my gastrointestinal system afterwards.
Hygiene was really on the edge, judged by the condition of the sanitary services (the sink wasn't cleaned for a couple of weeks), so if this is an indication of what happens in the kitchen...
