A great afternoon, we spent 3 hours over high tea and wine with the best view of the mist rising from the falls!!! Sit on the veranda if you can and do visit the hotels gift shop, great!!!!

The Livingstone Room at the Vic Falls Hotel gives you a reminder of how things used to be in Africa back in the colonial days. It feels somewhat like eating in a museum, but it is something not to be missed if you are there. (I was denied entry 19 years ago because I only had shorts to wear, so... More

For the price was expecting much better quality food. Doesn't live up to it's reputation as best place to eat at Falls. Hotel itself is beautiful

A wonderful opportunity to step back in time to a more elegant and gracious era when dining rather than eating was the order of the day! Friendly service with warmth and enthusiasm mixed with cuisine from the 70's including crepe Suzette flambé at your table by the Maitre d' Hotel who has been in residence for 50 years. It's incredibly... More

We booked a table at The Livingstone Room for the degustation menu. 7 courses for $40 plus a different wine for each course if you want it at $30. We had booked our table for 7pm, sadly we were the only diners in the 120 seat room. The meal consisted of an amuse-bouch of smoked fish, fish soup, pork rillettes,... More

Theses were the best steaks of the trip. This was our special dinner to celebrate the four of us spending time together on a 3 week safari. This was a great place to reflect and celebrate. Our food was outstanding as was the service. They have loosened the on jeans rule but I would have felt bad wearing jeans to... More

If staying in the Victoria Falls Hotel (or even if not), you should try the Livingstone Room at least once. The 7 course dinner is great value at US$40. We did not have the wine pairings but I had a very nice Franschoek Cabernet Sauvignon for only $9 a glass. Service is old school impeccable and the food is excellent.... More

You receive 5 star service from the second you walk in the door. The waiters are right there whenever you need them and it is a great experience in Africa. On vacation it is nice to get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner. They do have a dress code that requires long pants (recomend dress pants) and... More
