after being recommended by friends, got a mix of different pastries from pineapple, cranberry, strawberry, longan. Love their cranberry pastries.. had to buy some to bring home as gifts. Just be reminded to bring enough cash as they do not accept credit cards.

Awesome products. The 'Sun biscuits' and pineapple pastry taste great. Freshly made and the 'Sun biscuits' expire within 2 weeks. For the pineapple pastry, it can be kept for a month. Will go back to ChiaTe during my next trip to Taipei. Only one shop in Taipei and you cannot buy their pastries elsewhere.

i only bought the pineapple tarts, they were very very good! there are empty boxes all over the shop, so depending on how much you want to buy, you take a box and fill it up before proceeding to the counter to pay. mixed flavours within the same box is allowed.
