Wide variety of seafood and local fare. Sits right on the river with views of both suspension bridges.
We were there for the second time recently after visiting some years ago. The location, especially at the outside river front tables is excellent. You do need a taxi driver who is prepared to ask though, most can't find this place without help! Food is predominantly seafood, with a huge menu selection. Wine list is decent and the service is... As my title suggest 'Delicious!' In Thai.Good Thai food by the riverside. The portions are just right and the food is served piping hot from the kitchen. It is very pleasant to dine in the outdoor area at this time of the year.Definetly worth that trip there though it is a bit way off.
Me & family had dinner here in our first night and last night in bangkok.. The food was great, fair price and it was good to have family dinner here their portion was generous.. Waiters and waitress are didn't speak English, but their menu came in English and pictures so we just need to point it out.. We're family of... More
We went there for an office dinner. The place is right on the river, overlooking the hanging bridge, & is not too far from the sukhumvit area. The food was good. Som tam papaya salad could have been better. Pla-ka-pong-neung-ma-nao (fish with lemon sauce) was nice. Its a quiet, open air type restaurant, which also has closed seating options. Would... More
Thanks to my Thai friend, I had the opportunity to eat really fabulous food. Super fresh seafood, flavors that will party in your mouth. The service is excellent and the view is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean too!
OK it's a fair distance in a taxi, for us 100baht from the Siam area. Most tables are outside along the river bank. There is a wide selection of fish and seafood, some quite unusual to Western palates. As has been mentioned before English is not a strong point but there is a menu with lots of pictures and the... The quality of the food is relly average in a city like Bangkok where food is one of the main attraction. To take a taxi to go all the way to Baan Klang Nam is not worth in my opinion.
Nice place, good service....must try the starter....rice ball with pork...hand made by a lady manning a stall at the entrance....the steam crab is a must....per order!
This place is very popular with locals, few tourists find the way here. You will need a taxi (about 100 baht) to go there, it is well off the beaten path. The restaurant will call a taxi for your way back. Nice, friendly staff, not many of which understand english but always try hard to please the farang customers.. Excellent... More
