We went to Armand based on the recommendation from the staff at White Mansion hotel and we had a very pleasant dining experience. My first impression as walking in was small but nicely done up cozy French restaurant with romantic atmosphere. Services and food was quite good. They do the flambé in front of you which was pretty entertaining. There... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Armand himself stopped by several times to check on us and it was fun watching him flambe many of the dishes. The french onion soup was the best I have ever had including many bowls in France. The menu is small but everything was delicious. The bone in rib eye was cooked perfectly and was... More

Nothing really WOW! about Armand, we were expecting more from reading the reviews. I ordered the pork rillets which i found to be way over salted, and my friend had the Armand Tenderloin which was very rare even though ordered a medium, after asking the waitress to return it for a bit more cooking she came back saying the chef... Fantastic entrecote perfectly cooked, generous aperitif, authentic foie gras served with what felt like real Poilane toasted dark bread. Price worthy wine list and chilled Mirabelle. Very decent pricing. In great company, can one ask for more? The Owner greeted, suggested and checked on us. Indeed French ambiance, the good way! More to taste next time...

This restaurant started a few years ago as a new promise in Phnom Penh; at that time the food was good, the atmosphere genuinely "sympathique" and Mr Armand used to be quite friendly. The food is still very good but the place has been spotted as a "soooo typical French bistrot" by a number of ambassadors and excellencies, and it... More

The food here is superb. The Tenderloin Armand is the best steak i have had since I moved away from Texas many years ago. Armand is also a very gracious and interesting host. I am known by my friends as a rather frugal person, and Armand's is the most expensive place I eat with any regularity--and I consider it almost... More

We expected so much more after reading TA reviews and thought we would treat ourselves on last night in town. Yes the food is well presented and cooked, however the service on the night we dined was very slow, our meals took more than 45 minutes to arrive, plus our waiter's English was limited and our drinks orders were messed... Had a nice long leisurely dinner with a party of 8 friends. We were made to feel very welcome, and we all really appreciated the simplicity of the menu and wine list. Food was excellent and delivered with a smile and a bit of banter. Particularly enjoyed the pork rillettes, which was recommended and served as part of a mixed... More

Armand's atmosphere, service, and food are top notch. I don't think if you go that you would be disappointed. It is a bit costly but quality product in Cambodia usually is. Now when I say classic french, Armand's menu is a bit dated, Chateaubriand is still on the menu and he does lovely sauces, but its not avant-garde fare. It... More
