I was there twice and both times pleasantly pleased! The ice cream with many flavors to choose from was heavenly. Either order a cone or cup, I chose the sugar cone which was fresh and tasty. The second time I had a mango shake that was equally good. Some may say pricey (the shake was $3 but was large served... More

I've always wanted to love this place as it has a cool name, I love ice cream and bakeries, and it is a business that has grown from small beginnings to being almost a Cambodian institution. I first visited the Siem Reap location where I stopped for an ice cream. I got caramel. It tasted burnt and bitter. A real... More

Escaped from the heat! Enjoyed the couch and AC upstairs. Free wifi and great icecream! Siem Reap has The Blue Pumpkin as well!

Although my hotel had buffet breakfast included I had breakfast at the Blue Pumpkin at the riverside every day .... a delicious "Continental Siem Reap" with a fresh baked croissant, 2 slices of home-made bread, home-made jam, fresh orange jus and a pot of earl-grey tea. And that all for only 3.25us$

The Blue Pumpkin is a nice place to escape the hustle and bustle and heat of outside as it is wonderfully cool and clean. However what to do when you are inside? Order an ice cream perhaps as it really isn't worth ordering the food. What we ordered was barely lukewarm and tasted stale, plus it is a bit pricey,... More

My first time at blue pumpkin I only had the orange sorbet which was cool, not too sweet and refreshing. Second time I sat upstairs and enjoyed the comfy bed/table and air conditioning while I indulged in a bacon cheese burger with fries. One of the best burgers I've had in Phnom Penh, crispy bacon, juicy beef patty, crispy fries.... More

Similar but much bigger than its Siem Reap operation, BP delivers which it says on the tin. Crisp white decor, restorative aircon, high ceilings and comfy seats. You can eat upstairs or downstairs and choose from a huge selection of rolls & sandwiches (both pre-made and made-to-order), hot dishes, pastires, juices, cocktails, iced coffees and the most sensational of ice... We went to the branch on Norodom above Monument books as we were there anyway and got hungry. $17 for some tiny beef "kebabs" (about 10grammes each) and a little steamed rice; a small portion of "khmer curry" that was mostly pineapple for my wife, and 2 fruit shakes (mango in season now, 1000 riel each, but the shake was... we went into Blue Pumpkin for some ice cream which was okay - place looked clean and sandwiches etc looked good but not too cheap - I personally prefer the local food rather than the western stuff but if not I probably would have eaten here

This food is about 3x too expensive. It is not worth the price or value of it. No one in their right mind should go here and pay these prices. $1 or more for a donut that you can buy at another store for 25 cents. If you want to spend your money on something worthwhile give it to a... More
