Typical good Turkish food served with a smile and good humor. It was a cold night and although seating was outside, they had a nice heater for us. Very friendly and helpful service.

Highlight was the house kebap, sizzling platter with chicken and lamb perfectly cooked with wonderful spices. The mixed mezza was also creative. One of our best meals in Turkey. Also recommend the Leona Shiraz-Okugozu wine. Good value for the price as well.
We came across this restaurant while strolling around the main part of Selcuk. The menu had typical Ottoman dishes that appealed to us and the courtyard dining looked inviting. Hubby had the Adana kebap and I had the vegetable saute. We started with the red chili spread and it was quite tasty. We like things spicy and this fit the...

We had a most enjoyable meal, all local delicacies, sitting in the secluded patio. Even though it was Novemeber, it was fine to sit outside in the evening.
We accidentally found this place while on a walk in the town and what a delightful place it was. We had ordered and ate a really crappy Mezze platter in Istanbul and were slightly circumspect about ordering it again but we were very glad we ordered it as it was delicious and some of the best food I've had in...

The restaurant is located in a charming courtyard in the "old city" section of Selcuk. Most of the food we ate here was great; in particular, the haydasi is among the best on our trip. The glaring exception was the "Old House Kebap", which is supposed to be the specialty of the house. It's basically a Turkish fajita, served on...

We enjoyed dinner in the courtyard, lovely grilled lamb, creamy hummus, excellent service, very romantic setting.
The staff here were warm and friendly and accommodated our requests without exception. The food was beautifully home cooked and fresh. The ambience of the restaurant was great with a lovely garden atmosphere, soft lightening and after a busy day at the ruins a lovely quiet spot off the main drag.
Cosy little garden with great atmosphere, nice and friendly staff, excellent turkish food, beautifully served. Highly recommended!
If this is the Old House Eski Evi restaurant located in the old part of Selcuk, we had a wonderful Ottman dinner here. Located on a side street in the old part of Selcuk, service is in a beautiful courtyard. The food was very well prepared, and served by friendly waiters.
