We went to Gabriel for dinner while in Jerusalem this week. First, the service was excellent from start to finish. We shared some appetizers which were all very good. For main course I had the rack of lamb special which was superb. My friends had fish which they thoroughly enjoyed. Desserts were super.

We went out to eat and everyone loved the food. I am vegetarian and so the main attraction was a bit lost on me, but they had a vegetarian option or two, and they were great and filling. The rest of the party, all meat eaters, really enjoyed their selections, and some of them claimed this is their favorite Jerusalem... More

We ate dinner at this restaurant last Saturday night. It is not easy to find good kosher restaurants after Sabbat, but we really enjoyed our meal. The food was great, nice background jazz music and friendly staff. Yes it is not cheap, but I think it was well worth it.

Me and my family went there for lunch about a year ago. The restaurant is very fancy, service is excellent and the atmosphere is like a 5 star restaurant. The only problem is the food, which wasn't that bad but lacked any creativity and certainly didn't justify the well-above-average prices and when it comes to restaurants- I believe that this... More

I went last night with a friend. Ambiance was nice. The waitress was amazing at first (more later), she was super friendly and that was good, I let her up sell me ony glass of wine...when in Rome! We shared the Chateaubrand and I sampled the daily soup. The soup was not very good, especially at the price tag. The... More

We had booked a table to celebrate New Year and had high expectations due to good ratings at this site. But unfortunately Gabriel's New Years menu was a disaster. Both my husband and son were very hungry they could not eat up. the meat were though and too salty, with the filet having a strange taste. We complained and we... More

I've been coming to Jerusalem for over five years and treat my local family to "adult dinner" at an upscale restaurant. Last nite it was Gabriel and I have to say that this was the best food and dining experience I've had to date in Jerusalem. Yes. You have to make a reservation. We were running a little late -... Made a reservation and glad we did so as upstairs was packed and we noticed them turn away customers during the evening. Waiters and chef gave good avice on the entree and main courses. Very good choice wine selction and reasonably priced. Service was perfect and punctual.

Whenever we go to Israel we try a new upscale restaurant and this was highly recommended. I made a reservation but then needed to change the time. Called but noone spoke English and then when I finally did change it, when we showed up they still had us at the old time. We were put at a wobbly table right... More
