Food was fresh and well prepared and the staff was friendly and professional. The food is solid, but nothing spectacular -- you will not be in for a culinary adventure. A bit expensive for what you get, but you will not be displeased with the meal.

Dolphin Yam is an amazing fish restaurant that consitently serves the freshest of fish! I make it a point to dine here often when I am in Jerusalem. My personal favorite is the salmon, but i have never seen anyone of my guests dissatisfied with any menu selection.
This restaurant was a little hike from the Inbal, but was a great find! Great service and great seafood with a nice selection of Israeli wines!
We visited this restaurant on Shabbat, and it was buzzing, so were were glad we'd booked. The service was brisk, if a bit brusque, and the complimentary bread and meze arrived very quickly. Both fresh and delicious. We ate well-cooked fish, were much too full for a dessert, but coffee and fresh mint tea rounded off the meal perfectly.
Meat and sea-food was pre-cooked and hardly warm - not something you are expecting from 35$ main course. Appetizers and focaccia goes for free and is not bad. Service level is moderate. Can be an option when there is no other place open. overall that was the worst dining experience in Israel.
Do not advice take grilled seafood. Stuff is good and welcome. Do not have any atmosphere. Overcrowded and a lot of strange people
Together with my friends I went twice in this really good restaurant - situated near Ben Yehuda quarter and not far from the old town i can confirm that food served is excellent ( we had fish and meat) service is really friendly and with warm weather you can sit outside - very pleasant and to try ! Do not...

We loved this restaurant! Grilled flavorful fish of all sorts were so tasty. Very nice wait staff. Outside seating is lovely. Hostess was so sweet. She brought us champaign when we had to wait just a few minutes for our table. Recommend the lava cake for dessert!
Very well established restaurant in the city, has undergone several incarnations over the years and stood the last ten years the best fish restaurant in Jerusalem and one of the best in the country. Small salads are served as is a focaccia. Large selection of main dishes, fresh fish, excellent seafood. Slightly less good desserts. Excellent location in the heart...

The food, fish, was excellent. The weather was warm and we dined outside. Waitstaff was terrific, friendly and efficient. They give you lots of free hors d'oeuvres which are delicious but definitely affected how much we could eat. We could have lived without them.
