Lebanese food in Amman at its best. My first experience of some new tastes, and an experience to savour. Outstanding service.

I have eaten at the Tanoureen several times while on business in Amman and on each occasion have eaten well and been well treated. The found food and the staff were very efficient. To start we had a mix of hot and cold appetizers and a mix barbecue which was first rate. For me the only down side was the... More

We arrived without reservations on a busy Friday evening. Service couldn't have been nicer, as they squeezed us in on a busy day. (Our table was reserved for later in the evening.) We had kuftes with aubergine, and a grilled lamb. For starters we had spleen (very spicy) and a very tasty dandelion salad. We had Mt. Nebo wine because... More

Tanourin was a wonderful choice for dinner. The food was delicious, the prices not too extravagant, and the waiting staff prompt and courteous, though not all staff spoke English very well. Our taxi driver had some trouble finding the place, but keep an eye out for the relatively low-to-the-ground sign surrounded by leafy vines and lit up with the English... More

Good settings with lovely outside/garden area (when the season allows it). Excellent food (the fattouch was too cold from the fridge though...) and service. Calculate at least 30 JOD per person.

This restaurant was highly recommended to us by a local and we were not disappointed. The mezze were excellent as was my lamb dish. Not cheap but you get what you paid for.

This is a favourite for my spouse and I. Locals in Amman always argue about the best Lebanese restaurant, and it boils down to Fakhreddin, Howwara and this one. And surely there is Sofra, Deir Al-Amar and Burj Al-Hamam. They're all good. One place could taste the best one day and another would taste the best the other. There is... More
