I have recently tried this restaurant...it is a normal italian restaurant with a nice setting but when compared with other similar genre restaurants personally i think it fails...the portions are very small relative to the somehow high pricing...you can get a better overall experience when you are in the mood for italian in some other places in beirut

It's the restaurant we keep returning to whenever we're in the mood for Italian. We have tried several dishes from the menu and so far every dish we have tried has been delicious. The venue is amazing, the waiters are nice and the food is fantastic. I especially liked the pappardelle with exquisite home made pasta. According to an Italian who dined with us, "it "L'Oca Matta" is the defenition of Italian fine dining" in the heart of Beirut.

This restaurant is in an old house beautifully renovated and became my favourite Italian in Beirut. The first time I went just a week after the opening, I founded good, but needed some fine tuning. Now it's excellent. I particularly recommend the Ravioli au Foie Gras and all the Risottos. For this Price, you won't get any better;
