Abdel Wahab is located just off the downtown, but close to the center and the National Museum of Lebanon. A nicely decorated restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. I went to this restaurant thinking that it was serving a tasting menu as it was recommended as a 'gourmet' restaurant, but there was no tasting menu or gourmet experience. It is serving...

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Staff is very friendly and professional. Seating arrangements were not very pleasant (space between tables too narrow) and the restaurant was very noisy
I am not sure if it was due to the fact that my friend and I are two western women - but we received extremely poor service. Our plates were taken from us before we had even finished, there was no background music so the restaurant totally lacked atmosphere - the waiting staff could not even crack a smile when...

Excellent Lebanese good in a beautiful restaurant. Service is good but food and atmosphere the highlights. Might be a little more expensive than some other places but its well worth a visit for a special occasion or just because you feel like great Lebanese food.
maybe expected too much from a restaurant considered one of the best places to eat lebanese cuisine. maybe the choice of food should not be left to the maitre. but the huge choice of mezzas was mediocre. nothing which i would voluntarily choose. and the price was not better. It deserves a second, more aware, visit.
Abdel Wahab is supposed to be one of the best lebanese restaurants....to my surprise it was just fine....Fattoush was even horrible, which is supposed to be their specialty!! Wouldnt go there again!!!
Spacious/sunny, neat, fast service, good traditional food, close to Downtown. Fattouch is deliciously prepared with Debees Remman! Cheese rolls are yummy. The meat and chicken are soooo soft!
As a person living in a country where kebab and mezzes are parts of the culture, I can say that this restaurant serves real good mezzes, such as tabouleh, muhamara, eggplant stuffed with nuts, eggplant fatteh, humus with pine nuts (all delicious). However, the kebabs were not as expected, they were dryer than they should be. On the other hand,...

One of the best place to eat Lebanese in Beirut . The grilled meat was bit dried but the appetizer and dessert were fantastic . Nice place also . Maybe waiters should improve courtesy .
