I have eaten at Vila Chaumiere many, many times and it is has pretty much always been great. I have a house in Port Vila and when people come to stay I always take them there and it never disappoints. Friends who come to stay with me more than once ask me to book (before they even arrive) so they... More

Great restaurant, great views. Its really, really quiet and a great place to spend a few hours over a slow meal. Service is good and food terrific, recommend the seafood pasta. A bit out of town but worth the trip.

My husband and I saved this restaurant for our last night dinner on our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed! The atmosphere was great, it was a busy night but the tables are spaced out well and all with a great view of the water. The food, especially the coconut crab, was amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant!

This place couldn't be more relaxing. In a quiet little lagoon front vila, the restaurant overlooks Lagoon no.2 and at night shines fluorescent lights on the water so you can see the crabs and tropical fish swimming almost under your table. The service was great, the food was great (we got coconut crab for 2 which we shared, along with... More

My partner and I took the taxi to the restaurant as it is a good 45 minutes walk from Port Vila center. It was worth it. Although we came at a time when they did not really serve dinner (call them before you go) the owner organized for us to have food we wanted. I was very surprised by the... More

You really don't know what to expect until you are taken to your table. From the car park you follow the winding path around the hidden villas to the reception where you are greeted by a great couple from NZ. The eating area is traditionally built in timber and thatched roof, over a deck above the clear waters of lagoon... More

We heard that it was good and it was. The setting is wonderful, the gardens awesome and the service outstanding. A lovely place for a Sunday Lunch. The owners made us feel at home.

Setting was nice. Food was over priced which seemed the way in Vanuatu. The food itself was average. We went on a recommendation from someone who'd been there. The resort owner told me that it was hit and miss when you eat at restaurants in Vanuatu.

Been a couple of times once shortly after they won an award (2009) and it was very good. A second visit was not so successful with overcooked steak, bit bland too. Hit and miss like so many places in Vila.
