Great location to sit and watch the bay. Happy hour from 5.30pm. Drinks and meals well priced. Talk to the cooks if there is no lobsters on the menu and the may source some for you. We had a couple of beautiful meals of 1kg lobsters for $24AUD each. The staff are really friendly and happy to help with local... More

A$20 a whole 1kg lobster and chips or A$40 for 2kg one. Wasn't on menu every night so just ask chef if they have any. Worth going there for that and daily cocktail special at A$7 good value.

We were touring Port Vila having just got off of an excellent P & O cruise through the Pacific islands. We saw the Anchor Inn and had our driver drop us there. The lunchtime food was great ( nice fish and chips - 1200 Vatu, about $12 ). Try the Tusker beer... not bad !

This place quickly became our local. It's a great place to unwind and watch the sea after a busy day of tours & activities. Friendly staff & great service. the food is also good, offering hearty pub grub for the hungry traveller. Mi Wantem Tusker!

We enjoyed the spacious and well located Anchor Inn.You can sit right up at the front and look out at Port Vila's magnificent harbour. Vanuatu's own Tusker beer is served cold to refresh the keenest thirst. The friendly local staff will wait on you all night. There is a grill where you can get steak.,chips and salad for about $10NZ.... More

What a great place for a cold beer with a view after being dragged through the shops by your wife on a hot day. Very well located at the end of the strip for a beer on the way out of town! In fact although we were only in Vanuatu for five days we called in here three times! More... More

After a hot day in town we used this Inn as a pickup and rest stop. The Inn is located at the end of town on the water, so great for drink at the end of the day. Food is reasonable if you are hungry. Drinks are always cold, good beer and wine. Table service a nice touch, and the... More

Good quality meals at a great price. Nice place to meet the locals & mingle with other travellers. The place has a relaxed Aussie to it.

From the dive charter, to the walk down its main street. Port Vila was a good choice at every turn. This venue was no exception. . Just happened to turn in at the entrance for no particular reason. just sightseeing I guess. Although not actually looking for a feed or a drink. plenty of people but not overcrowded and still... Great location and good service, the food was fresh and simple. There is a fantastic view over the bay as the sun sets. Was what we expected. Had burgers and dish, burgers were fresh but very small meat, fish was great. Takes AUD or Vatu. So very good for a simple pub meal with friends and a family.
