This Beano's is the biggest one in Egypt. It's a great atmosphere. You can choose to sit indoor or outdoor. There are lots of seats. If the weather permits, outdoor is nice. There is also a kids' play area which is great if you have kids.

Wide transparent glass facade allows sun in. They have a great hazelnut caramel square. Splendid when served hot with vanilla ice-cream & chocolate sauce. Good coffee.
Beanos is a chain with locations throughout Cairo. The one in Maadi is newly constructed, bright, clean with indoor and outdoor seating. it has food and a patisserie. Beanos makes and sells its own baked goods and breads. Kids were neutral on the food but enjoyed the small outdoor play area and the mint lemonade.
Great variety of coffees and teas and deserts at OK prices. Service is acceptable and there are many locations.
Definitely my favourite coffeeshop in Cairo! Great coffee, great service, lovely seating areas, great cakes and variety of snacks. Time flies by while chatting at Beano's :)

Loved the experience. In the urban business crowd with writers and fashionistas mixed in, Egypt style.
Have only been to the Beanos branch in Zamalek. Good seating and atmosphere, good prices, enjoyed their sandwiches but the desserts were not as good as I hoped. Coffee was average and I would have liked them to add some egg dishes to encourage people (and me!) to come by for breakfast.
I go to Beanos Maadi every Saturday to meet girlfriends.. we use this place because of the location and not for the service or food. Great location but the service is slow but this is nothing new in Cairo.. service is never good ( I work in the hospitality section) but my biggest complaint about this restaurant is the noise.....
