This is a great little place in the middle of soho. The tapas are amazing. You have to try the wagu beef, so tender. Great food for sharing, good music, great wine and good value for money. They do good cocktails too.

I`ve been here 3 times since some friends of mine showed me this restaurant in September last year, I went here with my friends and even with my family when they came for a visit to Hong Kong:
I was never disappointed!!
The food, the service and the ambiente are just perfect.

Great food, great service to a reasonable price i.e. great value. The location in the center of SoHo results in a nice walk to and from the restaurant as well. The restaurant setting is cosy and clean. I can actually recommend all of the small tapas dishes we tried during our visitas well as the drinks of course.
Two huge...

Part of the same group, a must try great restaurant and bar right by the escalator. We were only in Hong Kong for a short trip but managed to visit on 3 occasions! Book unless you arrive early. We timed our two evening visits pre 8pm when the cocktails and beers were at Happy Hour prices, but be warned, they...

Went there around 11am on a weekday before the lunch crowd. Was able to grab a small table in the front. Had a relaxed pizza lunch and watched all walks of life passing in front of us on the long escalator. Food and service was decent.
Very conveniently situated within yards of the Central escalator, this little gem is relatively small and noisy but you don't feel as if everyone is listening to your table's conversation. It gets very busy and it is advisable to book a table.
The clientele on our visit appeared to be mainly expats taking the tapas menu. Not really true tapas...

Bacar lives up its reputation. We ate there on a Sunday evening (quieter time, so no need for a booking). We were with two teenagers so we chose upstairs. Attentive waiting staff. Cocktails that actually taste like they have alcohol in them. The Apple Julep was a big hit with the teens (the Moc k Champagne was s bit too...

We really like the food here as we love small and tasty morsels to share. The curry tasters, the kebabs, the stuffed peppers and the ginger pudding were all beautifully cooked. All great for an early evening meal and a drink,
The wine and drinks are a bit overpriced (but that's Hong Kong) but the food was really good. We went in for appetizers and had the seared tuna and the halloumi and zucchini cakes and the they were both really tasty. It was really busy so we had to sit at the bar but we didn't mind because its always...

Been a consistent customer of this little gem for 3+ years now. Service is great. Food arrives quickly even when the restaurant is crazy busy. We usually order an assortment of the small bites - risotto balls, shrimp, beef chunks, salad or two, brie cheese, seared tuna, mushroom with tomato and peppers... And those are just our favorites. The pizzas...
