I ate there recently with a Peruvian and also Chileans. We all liked the food, my seafood risotto was excellent. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.
Good service. It is small but well located atraz the mall and looks cool lada food court. The cevice mixto is delicious accompanied by pisco sauer and a good Chilean wine. Family environment. Lots of families with children over the weekend. Has several shops to wander and then buy. Cost for one person with pisco sauer. $ 24.00
I have never been to Peru and I'm by no means a peruvian food expert, but I have the feeling that Tanta does not offer the most authentic peruvian fare. It probably does not make peruvian people recall their childhood memories. Yet, I have been here several times and the dishes are always tasty, always consistent in presentation and flavor.... More
I went to the Costanera Center and asked for a Ceviche and it sucked!! I am peruvian and love my food!!! The waitress should have asked if we wanted spicy or not because the "peruvian chili" makes the fodd better, so the brought the food without TASTE: lack of salt, rocoto (peruvian chili), sauce... NOT GOOD, I never want to... More
I know Tanta from Peru and this one is practically the same food and atmosphere and has great servicial staff. If you are in this mall fir shopping or just strolling, I believe you'll find in Tanta the food you wish, from small dishes through full meal and up to delicious desserts.
Good peruvian food in chile, limited menu but good food considering the price. A must if you are in parque aruco
Tanta, the budget restaurant of Gaston Acurio, the renowned Peruvian chef, owner of Astrid y Gaston and sort of ambassador of the Peruvian culinary around the world, resembles a modern, aired bistro. Our gastronomic experience out there was only OK. The Aji de Gallina one of my daughters ordered was just a shadow of a real Aji de Gallina eaten... More
There are limited eating choices at the Parque Arauco Shopping Center--mostly chains, fast food, and coffee places. This Peruvian Restaurant offers a respite in the commercial whirl. Service is slow of course, this being Chile, and prices are a bit inflated, but the Tanta Salad is a filling lunch. With squid, chick peas, arugula, tomato, red onion, and orange slices... More
A Chilean friend took us to this restaurant in the middle of a mall. He recommended us to try the Peruvian cebiche (raw fish dish with a 'sauce' of lemon, garlic, red onion, chili peppers). So we did....well I can tell you it was a divine experience for my taste organs ;-) delicious! Also we had tiradito (raw seabass with... More
