You have to taste this hamburger It is the best one I have ever tasted. You have to know this restaurant
Went to Alma for my birthday as wanted to treat ourselves after a couple of months budget travelling. After reading previous reviews about midweek dining, I was half expecting an empty restaurant, and so it was. This seemed to demoralize the staff, as they couldn't muster any enthusiasm, lead by the manager spending the entire night on her mobile phone... More
We were highly disappointed in our visit to this restaurant, considering the number of positive reviews it received. Everything needed salt, flavor, garlic.. something!!! We ordered grilled octopus and shrimp and some carpaccio trilogy as appetizers. Nothing special, the octopus and shrimp were completely flavorless and the carpaccio had a mustard dressing that it might've as well been plain mustard.... More
We had a successful dinner here. It's a very nice property, tucked up in the hills in a residential neighborhood. Very spacious and well appointed. The diners our night were majority North American, but there was a comforting showing of Latin Americans. Argentine is the theme and it works. Empanadas are the specialty and they are out of this world.... More
Nice place, we had a nice treat, trying a lot of different platters, all of them were worth tasting. The nice atmosphere and all quite neat and well served. We recommend it, we will be go back again.
Although located in an exclusive residential part of town, somewhat out of the beaten path, this modern restaurant has a vibrant decor and menu typical of Argentina. The quality of food surpasses the Ecuadorian cuisine and we enjoyed very much all that we had ordered. Appertzers were generous and the steaks perfectly cooked to our specs. We got to choose... More
My husband and I ate there last night and tried the degustation menu. Food was above average, however it lacked the creativity that we were expecting. Service was great. Enjoyed going into their "wine cellar" to chose our wine. While it is a bit out of the way, the restaurant called a taxi for us and it worked out fine.
This restaurant is in a residential area 15 min by taxi from the central area but worth the effort. The food was wonderfully prepared and the best we had in Quito. The staff made us feel at home and when it was time to order wine we were lead to the wine cellar to select a bottle. Very reasonable prices... More
One of the best restaurants in Quito, no doubts about it. Although the restaurant is a bit away of everything is located in a beautiful and not discover area of Quito. Food exquisite, service amazing, you pay for what you get, I am pretty sure anyone will love to go to this restaurant and have a great time with friends,... More
