Place was very popular and crowded. A good sign. Food was indigenous but modern and very fun. Great inventive menu, especially loved the desserts. Great location close to the Plaza, upstairs.

The food was very good and well presented. The restaurant was constantly packed. I just found it funny that nobody knew who's the current chef de par tie whenever we asked. Odd for a Gaston Acurio restaurant...and yes, this after we had a previous meal at Astrid and Gaston in Lima (wher the chef's name is posted everywhere).
What a wonderful restaurant! Beautifully situated overlooking a plaza, it has lovely decor and a very attentive staff. My wife and I had a fantastic meal here, one that was very creatively presented and which tasted really fantastic. We are vegetarians and so this was especially pleasing. We have no hesitations in highly recommending Chi Cha!
We wanted to try Chi Cha because of the extraordiinary role Acurio has played in promoting Peruvian cuisine. The restaurant entry is impressive, really brilliant paintings on the entry wall. Inside, the atmosphere is busy, high rev ... you'll need a reservation. The food was good, especially the appetizers and the presentation was certainly impressive, but, you"ll pay big bucks...

Wanted to try this resto with Michelin star and to try cuy for the first time with 2 other friends. The cerviche for starters was decent. Was a bit disappointed with the cuy main tho - it was breaded and deep fried so I cld barely taste the meat at all & 59 solos was rather steep for the dish...

This is a great place for dinner in Cusco. Do make a reservation because it gets really crowded. The atmosphere is quite nice. Not necessarily a fancy deco. It's more of setup in an old house. Hostess is very helpful when accommodating requests. The food was amazing. The alpaca 2 ways. Plus the CUY / guinea pig tacos. Wow. Couldn't...

We have spent the last four months in Cusco and are heading home in the next week. We decided to save Chi Cha for the last week for a special date night. Overall we were very disappointed in the restaurant. The overall ambiance is very mediocre, and the service was quite slow. We were not helped for at least 10...

We had a lovely dinner here during our stay in Cusco. Admittedly, I had high expectations, as we had some other great meals in the city and knew of Gaston Acurio's reputation for fine dining. The atmosphere was not as nice as I had hoped - rather simple, in fact. The food was good - a large menu with both...

The dining experience here was excellent from start to finish. Staff were attentive and the food was outstanding quality. This is a fine dining experience with well crafted dishes and petit fours to finish. Great flavours, a lovely location and good value for money.
Excellent Peruvian food. Portions were large. One of my favorite places to eat in Cusco! We hope to return.
