Everything is wonderful, homemade and delicious. Great service, great wine, pasta, and seafood. We have visited this pricy, but superior restaurant 3 or 4 times over the past 2 years and are never disappointed.

We have been to Osteria 177 several times, primarily for special occasions. No matter the season, day, time, or occasion, the food and service are consistently excellent. We have never been disappointed, and are always comfortable recommending it to others.
When you get hungry for wonderful Italian food, this is the best place in town for pasta or beautifully prepared fish...
Had late dinner, place very busy and noisy Food good but not cheap with an Italian slant Service intermittent particularly from busboy Athmosphere sorely lacking Good wine by the glass
If you're looking for cheap, go elsewhere. If you're looking for beautifully prepared Italian dishes in a relaxed friendly atmosphere, look no further. Wonderful selection of perfectly balanced flavors. Ask for Dimitri--he's a trip!
My husband and I live in Baltimore. We decided on Sunday to take a drive to Annapolis...walk through the historic district, take in the sites and enjoy the salty breeze.
We decided to have lunch in town and came across Osteria 177 on Main St. AMAZING!
The prosciutto and melone was very good...one change - I would add another slice...

IMO, the best and most creative Italian restaurant in Annapolis at this time. My wife and I ate here two times last fall and were very impressed by their creativity in Italian cuisine.
Had a good dinner here, a little over priced. Service was good. Order the sea bass if on special!! The place is missing something, maybe needs to be divided into smaller more intimate spaces. Over all one of the top places in downtown Annapolis.
We had wonderful service at Osteria from Dimitri - he's a great waiter! The drinks are very good - my husband had a house-made punch that was delicious. We enjoyed our entrees (duck breast and penne with crab), and shared a satisfying tiramisu for dessert.
