Probably the worst risotto I have eaten. We had problems with the small flies during the dinner. Nice piano music.
Stopped in for lunch whilst on a cruise holiday, knew it must be okay as spotted staff from the ship also dining! Friendly and helpful staff and very clean! Lunch was lovely we had lasagne, spaghetti bologna use and a sandwhich bread basket came with it, all meals very tasty. My only complaint was the desert I ordered tiramisu which... More
Great setting, lovely staff and enough choice on a menu for a quick lunch or dinner. In the evening they have a jazzy pianist and if warm enough, a good spot outside to sit. Food was good, not badly priced considering the venue near the entrance to the Old Town.
This cafe is located close to the entrance of the old town. Great people watching. We ate breakfast here each morning as it was included with our stay at Hotel Stari Grad. We really appreciated the great service. I ducked in one morning, as we were in a hurry to catch a bus for a day trip, and the owner... More
This cafe is located at the beginning of the old town so there are a lot of people passing. Great if you enjoy looking at people and guessing where they came from. We went there after 7pm and a pianist played live music. You pay more for the location. 1 glass of 0,1l rose was 40 kuna.
We visited this restaurant for drinks one day as part of a group and spoke with the friendly waiter Damien. After hearing myself and my husband were getting married that week we were all given shots on the house and a glass of champagne for the two of us. We returned for dinner as part of a group the bruschetta... More
We ducked into Café Festival only because a nasty hail storm hit and we were seeking shelter -- plus we were hungry. What a lucky find! Even though the café was packed, both service and food was quite good. I had a vegetarian sandwich @ 50 kuna (US$9) while my husband had a tuna sandwich @50 kuna.
We went to this great bar/café everyday during our stay in Dubrovnik to have lovely drinks and people watch. First class service, comfy directors chairs and amazing location as everyone coming through the main Pile Gate of the Old City walks past you. Drinks are not cheap in Dubrovnik but worth it.
A great little cafe on the main street. What stood out for us was how great the service was; the waiters are friendly and they ensure you are served quickly and are never left with an empty glass - we found this to be a rarity in Dubrovnik with waiters in many other places taking a distinct lack of interest... We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here on our final day as we left the city. In the morning, the outside tables have cool shade and a gentle breeze blowing. The occasional delivery truck passing by is a distraction, but the food was wholesome and fresh and we moved on very much happier after our stop.
