getting there is veryfun, the place is nice if you like extreme rustic settings, so tables and chairs are not very comfy, the staff has no training whatsoever but that goes with the rustic of the place, items in the menu are a bit overpriced but that is what you get fromplaces with good vies, neither food or drinks were... Sad that they are not open in the evening. The view is the Brest in town, the staff very friendly and the food excellent : for breakfast, for diner (italian food or meat) or for a drink with an apetizer, el Mirador is the place to be. Princes are also very cheap for the good quality you have. Tip :... More

It's a nice/steep walk from the city center to get to the restaurant. The view, however, makes up for it. They took our orders promptly and the food was good as well. We had a tortilla (great) and a sandwich (average). You can have cheaper meals, but obviously you pay for the amazing view. The restaurant got recommend to us... More

Cant beat the view, great location not to far a walk from the centre of town. The service is blah and its a little over priced. However the pasta is amazing. The sandwiches average. Choose your dish carefully it could either be great or average depending on what you order.

Superb view of the city, relaxed place to sit and eat and kill time waiting for museums to open. We had sandwiches each time--wish I'd tried the pasta.

They have a nice view over town, directly located next to plaza recoleta. Furthermore they serve the best hot chocolate I ever tasted. Sad that the people who `work` there are so lazy and unfriendly. They don`t greet you, don`t wish you a `nice meal`, and of you don`t wave or stand up to search them, they will not come... More

Walked up here from the plaza and sat outside in a few of the lounge chairs overlooking the city. It was a little cold and cloudy but we didn't mind, the view was great. Since we were the only ones outdoors, our server didn't check on us or bring the bill but that was fine. Had a decent 660 ml... More

Cafe Mirador is perched atop a hill in La Recoleta district. It has glorious views of the whole city and has a pleasant garden area for you to sit in and soak it all up. You can even choose between shaded tables or plonk yourself in a deck chair to catch some rays. Great food and cocktails as well. Well... More

The food here was tasty and reasonably priced given the location and great views of the city. It's a bit of a hike uphill to the mirador and this is the ideal place to treat yourself at the top.

This is a must stop, even just for a drink, for the views alone. Sure it's touristy (it is essentially underneath a major viewpoint), but don't let that stop you. Perfect place to just unwind with a beer, juice or iced coffee (soooo good). The food is pretty delicious too if you decide on something more substantial. Service is somewhat... More
