I stumbled across this place, but it's well worth seeking out if you're in Siem reap. Super modern with a great atmosphere and I enjoyed seeing bbc news and CNN on the flat screens. The food and coffee are as good as anywhere else in town. Staff are really friendly and I could have sat there all day.

Common Grounds was my regular lunch spot during my 6 week stay in Siem Reap. Great food, service and atmosphere, plus free wifi, AND all profits go towards NGOs helping Cambodian people. The mango cashew nut smoothie was my favourite. Coffee was great too.

Although for all the nice things that can be said about the staff. Common Grounds promotes itself as a Cafe which specialises in coffee. This is definitely not their strong point. I had a mocha shake, which was quite good. The upstairs area had very comfortable seating and a good atmosphere for being productive. The only critique is that service was a little slow up there sometimes, though it seemed to improve over the course of the hour or two I was there.

Went for lunch today and the food was very good. I had a molten lava cake for afters and it was very nice. It's great to know that the profits are benefitting people who need it. Would definitely recommend this place over the Blue Pumpkin as that would be its closest rival.
