I'm not a particularly big fan of cajun (or spicy) food, so my husband and I only wound up here one night because we couldn't get a table at Taka. It was a happy accident, because I thought the food was delicious! Well seasoned and overly spicy. The service was helpful and attentive. What more could you ask for? I... More

I was very excited to try this restaurant and thought the menu to be really interesting but was a bit disappointed with the evening. Food was good but not great and not as seasoned as I anticipated. Was really looking for some true cajun fare. Atmosphere was casual and easy and the wait staff very pleasant. We like to try... More

We have dined in many of the other restaurants in the immediate area of Trinity and the Pope and this place always looked so interesting that we decided to give it a try. We perused the menu and were excited that it served cajun cuisine. Yeah, well its not really cajun cuisine because the food was very underseasoned . I... More

Nice atmosphere and great food. Can also order smaller portions rather than entire entre. Servers were excellent, professional and prompt

Dinner last Saturday, found both the food and service great as well as the atmosphere. The place is a former old bank building, nice to see it being used rather than torn down and replaced with a drugstore chain (like you now see everywhere else). Worth checking out!

We sometimes go here before eating dinner. The beer and drink selections are great. Love the atmosphere with the high ceilings and the second floor. We have not eaten there yet but heard its good. Now the service is another story. Most of the female bartenders we interacted with were rude. Either talking to their friend at the bar or... More

I was just here this past Saturday with 2 other couples and all 6 of us were blown away! The decor and atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful! Everyone's dish was delicious all packed full of flavor and different textures! The drinks were also delicious and were NOT watered down! Well done! I will return! O there was also great live... Four of us went to dinner Sat early eve. The servers were very attentive and enjoyed the escargot appetizer. The jalapeño beignets were a pass. Did not detect peppers at all so we dipped them into them escargot sauce. Liked the shrimp Margery and jambalaya. Would definitely return!

Read so much about this restaurant, really wanted to try it. Went early on a Friday, so the place was relatively empty and I will assume were would have been some of the first dishes out of the kitchen. Appetizers were good, especially the scallops in bourbon sauce, so my husband and I were really looking forward to our entrees.... More

We've been here for the Wednesday tapas during the week and weekend dinners. The food is always delicious and it has a varied menu with favorites like mac and cheese with a twist (with collard greens). The Wednesday tapas are a great way to taste a variety of dishes they offer. Their specials like lollipop lambchops are perfect. It has... More
